Big Brothers Big Sisters plays a vital role in building healthy communities through youth development. Continuing the personal connection between our Bigs and Littles is more important than ever to ensure every child's potential remains defended.
We recognize that this is a difficult time for everyone. We know our Littles are feeling the brunt of this pandemic and we need to ensure their needs are being met. The survival of our BBBS agency is a top priority in these unprecedented times so we can continue to provide high-quality services to our Littles and Bigs. You can help in a variety of ways:
As the Safer at Home orders are lifted, we encourage all matches to follow safety standards and precautions put into place by our Health Departments. If all parties agree to meet in person, we ask that you be cautious and use common sense. We recommend that you:
- Meet outside or at another location that accommodates social distancing measures
- Allow parents/guardians to transport the Little to meet the Big
- Use protective measures (face masks, hand sanitizer, etc)
