COMMUNITY-BASED
Our Community-Based mentoring model has been established in our organization for over 100 years since Big Brothers Big Sisters first started. It is our core program that has set the foundation for our mission: to create and support one-to-one youth mentoring. This program involves one-on-one outings and activities out in the community. Along with our support, Mentors partner with their Little and their family to set goals and plan one-to-one activities and outings, which should be low or no cost. Activities can range from seeing a baseball game, fishing, and going for a walk in the park to cooking together. No matter the activity, the goal is to build a strong relationship within these meetings.

SITE-BASED
Our Site-Based program model is for those looking to mentor in a more structured environment. Mentors meet with their Little at the child's school or a specific site at a consistent date and time. This program is perfect for someone looking to impact a child's life by meeting with their Little at lunchtime to play board games, share stories, etc. Matches can participate in a variety of activities, but activities can only take place at the site.
